Peter Henderson Solo African Blackwood Pipe Chanter with Reed Protector & Case
This Peter Henderson chanter, designed for soloists, is crafted from quality African Blackwood to achieve the rich sound competing solo pipers seek. This pipe chanter also comes with a plastic reed protector and a nice storage case with the Peter Henderson logo in a gold foil.
Canning Blue Drone Reeds
Canning Blue drone reeds have a moisture-proof body that can be dried for extended playing time. Compared with Canning Original Drone Reeds, the Blue reeds have increased brightness, vibrancy, and volume.
Features of Canning Blue Drone Reeds:
  • Moisture-proof reed body
  • Bright and vibrant sound
  • Tenor & bass reeds have different style tongues to produce great harmonics & balance
  • Carbon fiber bass tongue
  • Polycarbonate tenor tongues
  • Flat, stay-put bridles
  • Setscrew in detachable nose-cone to allow easy pitch adjustments
  • Easy to start and stop
MG Carbon White Mamba Drone Reeds
MG Carbon reeds are designed to deliver stability and tone and have been nicknamed White Mambas. The plastic bodies and carbon fiber tongues help play through moisture. The powerful sound of carbon fiber is softened in the tenors, with a specially shaped tongue. This results in better balance between bass and tenors. Designed and manufactured by Rory Grosart, in partnership with McCallum Bagpipes.
Features of MG White Carbon Drone Reeds:
  • Plastic reed bodies
  • All carbon fiber tongues for tonal quality
  • Contoured tenor tongues for mellower, balanced sound
  • Flat rubber bridles for secure settings
  • Locking pitch adjuster screws
Peter Henderson Polypenco Band Pipe Chanter
The Peter Henderson plastic band chanter was designed by Alastair Dunn of Field Marshal Montgomery, winners of multiple World Pipe Band Championships. The makers of the chanter indicate that it has been made "to generate a bright robust sound with maximum projection." In addition, "it produces a balance sound between all notes and is comfortable to play."
Dunbar PCXL4 Long Polypenco Practice Chanter
The Dunbar long practice chanter is a quality practice chanter from J. Dunbar Bagpipes, pioneers in Polypenco bagpipe products. The Dunbar long is sort of an extra long chanter, as it's a bit longer than other long chanters. It has very good intonation and achieves great volume with a Gibson reed. Dunbar chanters are made in St Catherines, Ontario, Canada.
Features of the Dunbar Long Poly Chanter:
  • Overall length 21.75"
  • Durable Polypenco construction
  • Hempless O-ring seal
  • Countersunk holes
  • Includes 1 reed
