The Drum Dial is a very useful tool for tuning pipe band drums and gettting the whole drum corps setup together.  The Drum Dial measures drum head tension, rather than tension rod torque. Because of this, it is best used with bass and tenor drums, and not with high tension snares. Drum Dials are very sensitive and are manufactured to the highest precision and quality standards.
