Description
ContentThese products are cast at a pewter manufacturing facility in Glasgow from moulds modelled by one of Scotlands finest sculptors.

All crests are based on "the Scottish Clan and Family Encyclopaedia" by Way and Squire, published by Harper Collins, and approved by the Council of Scottish Chiefs.

The Range comprises over 200 clans with additional generic badges of the Scottish Thistle, Rampant Lion, piper, St Andrews, Masonic, Harp and Shamrock.

Each badge is cast as a single piece (excepting the pin mounts), which allows for maximum strength and durability. and is made from 100% Pewter with no lead content.

Each casting is individually fettled and hand polished. Hand antiquing is also applied to result in a product worthy to carry the "made in Scotland" mark.

  • Fits 28 x 12 - 28 x 16 Andante, Pearl, and Premier drums
Shepherd Polypenco "Orchestral" Pipe Chanter
The Shepherd Orchestral Pipe Chanter is pitched at 466 Hz, concert pitch Bb. This is the older traditional pitch of the bagpipe. The lower pitched chanter allows the bagpipe to be played with other instruments in the key of Bb. The orchestral chanter has been on the market since 2006. You may need drone reed extenders or low-pitch drone reeds to bring the drones in line with the chanter.
Ross Suede-Feel Synthetic Zipper Pipe Bags

Plus, it's more hygienic and has a longer lifespan than most hide bags. The zipper is easier to pull and requires only a dab of lubricant at the end. The zipper is angled for minimum contact with your arm.
Features of the Ross Suede-Feel Zipper Pipe Bag:
  • Red, suede-feel exterior offers helpful friction
  • Bag feel similar to hide or sheepskin
  • Reliable synthetic material
  • Smooth seams
  • Angled zipper positioning for convenience

  • Ross logo and size printed in gold
  • Easy installation

Ross Suede-Feel Zipper Pipe Bag with Canister System   The Ross bag has a suede-like, red exterior that offers some grip and makes the Ross bag more like a hyprid hide/synthetic pipe bag, with vibrance and harmonics to rival a sheepskin bag. The bag requires no seasoning and is virtually maintenance free; plus it's more hygienic and has a longer lifespan than most hide bags. Installation is easier than ever, with hoses that fit into the base of the stock with a simple twist. The system or any of its parts can be removed quickly, and hoses can be taken out for regular cleaning.  An extra canister is supplied, so you'll always have a dry canister at hand. Canisters contain specific chambers for the chanter and each drone, so you can regulate moisture to all reeds by adjusting the amount of drying agent in the chambers or by turning the colored tabs on the output lid, opening or closing the moist air inlet holes. The Ross system gives you the opportunity to make fine adjustments, so you can have a system that best suits your playing style. Watch our step-by-step installation videos for helpful tips and tricks:
Features of the Ross Suede-Feel Bag with Canister System:
  • Red, suede-feel exterior offers helpful friction
  • Reliable synthetic material (no seasoning)
  • Smooth seams
  • Angled zipper positioning for convenience
  • T-zip, easy-pull zipper access
  • Moisture control to all 4 reeds

  • Available in 5 Sizes (Extended Small is most popular)
  • 2 year warranty on the bag (so keep receipt)
Tips for Using the Canister System:
  • Adjust moisture level by removing or adding drying agent to any chamber
  • Remember, your chanter reed needs some moisture
  • Drier blowers can use without the chanter hose
  • Sieve the granules regularly to eliminate smallest particles
  • Vacuum out system and rinse hoses periodically to remove dust
  • Dry the granules after each use for maximum effectiveness
  • Drying agent can be put in the microwave on  plate, but the canister does not go in the microwave
  • A proper setup results in little restriction of airflow
Installation Tips: If you use the clamp and sleeve to attach the chanter stock instead of trying it in, make sure not to overtighten the clamp, as that may damage a wood stock. Note: Because the Ross Canister System has extra components, pipes fitted with the system may require a roomier pipe case.
RedWood Drone Reeds
RedWood reeds get their color from Padouk wood. The carbon fiber bass tongue and glass fiber tenors produce a bass-forward sound with well balanced tenor drones. Features of RedWood Drone Reeds:
  • Padouk wood body
  • Glass fiber tenor tongues
  • Carbon fiber bass tongue
  • Flat rubber bridles
  • Metal pitch adjusters
