MG Carbon reeds are designed to deliver stability and tone and have been nicknamed White Mambas. The plastic bodies and carbon fiber tongues help play through moisture. The powerful sound of carbon fiber is softened in the tenors, with a specially shaped tongue. This results in better balance between bass and tenors. Designed and manufactured by Rory Grosart, in partnership with McCallum Bagpipes.

| Wallace Poly Pipe Chanter
The Wallace Poly pipe chanter was developed by Craig Munro, who also plays with St. Laurence O'Toole and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. This is the chanter included with Wallace bagpipes. Made in Scotland. | Ross Suede-Feel Zipper Pipe Bag with Canister System
The Ross bag has a suede-like, red exterior that offers some grip and makes the Ross bag more like a hyprid hide/synthetic pipe bag, with vibrance and harmonics to rival a sheepskin bag. The bag requires no seasoning and is virtually maintenance free; plus it's more hygienic and has a longer lifespan than most hide bags. Installation is easier than ever, with hoses that fit into the base of the stock with a simple twist. The system or any of its parts can be removed quickly, and hoses can be taken out for regular cleaning. An extra canister is supplied, so you'll always have a dry canister at hand. Canisters contain specific chambers for the chanter and each drone, so you can regulate moisture to all reeds by adjusting the amount of drying agent in the chambers or by turning the colored tabs on the output lid, opening or closing the moist air inlet holes. The Ross system gives you the opportunity to make fine adjustments, so you can have a system that best suits your playing style.

Shepherd chanters have an established history with award-winning bands and solo pipers. This is the classic version of the Shepherd Blackwood pipe chanter. Shepherd chanters are made in Scotland by RT Shepherd and Son. | Peter Henderson Polypenco Band Pipe Chanter
The Peter Henderson plastic band chanter was designed by Alastair Dunn of Field Marshal Montgomery, winners of multiple World Pipe Band Championships. The makers of the chanter indicate that it has been made "to generate a bright robust sound with maximum projection." In addition, "it produces a balance sound between all notes and is comfortable to play."
