Pipe Band Snare Drum Tutor Book with CD/CDROM by Doug Stronach A method book for beginner and intermediate drummers. It features a CD with 78 recorded audio tracks, 14 digital videos, scores played with or without a piper, and all exercises with or without a metronome.

The music has been taken from out of print publications of Charles Thomason, William Ross and G F Ross, and from the manuscripts of  Colin Campbell, Angus MacKay, John Smith, John MacDougall Gillies and Ronald MacKenzie. It contains both known tunes such as Glengarry’s Lament, including a setting from the manuscript of Ronald MacKenzie, and less known tunes such as Lament for Colonel Forbes from Thomason’s Ceol Mor and Nameless from the John MacDougall Gillies MS (96).  The scores are printed in PS style, with editorial and historical notes.  The editors are Ronald Clark, Alan Forbes and Andrew Wright.

Balmoral Collection of Hymns Book & CD - Balderose
This book contains a wealth of hymns and Christmas Carols, as well as sought-after medleys for bagpipe and organ: an Amazing Grace Medley and a Here I Am Lord Medley. There is also organ music for the piobaireachd "The Lament for the Children." Especially helpful is the CD, which demonstrates the bagpipe and organ medleys and piobarieachd. Helpful notes and information are also included. The layout is clear and organized, and the spiral binding helps the book lie flat. Arranged and compiled by George Balderose.106 pages.
