The Third Hand is a tuning aid for pipers learning to tune their pipes. The flexible rubber grip covers the holes of the bottom hand to sound Low A.  This allows you to remove a hand to tune while maintaining Low A. This tuning aid is perfect for use with a poly chanter, but be careful if using on a Blackwood chanter.

This 2 oz. roll has a good amount of hemp. Yellow hemp is simply a must-have for pipers.  Use it on pipes, pipe chanter reeds, practice chanter reeds, practice chanters. Yellow hemp can be used on all bagpipes joints. When using plain yellow hemp, be careful not add too much. The hemp swells when it absorbs moisture and can lock or split joints that are over-hemped.
