The Wallace Poly pipe chanter was developed by Craig Munro, who also plays with St. Laurence O'Toole and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. This is the chanter included with Wallace bagpipes. Made in Scotland.

This version of the Naill Poly Pipe Chanter is considered best for soloists, and it's the one that comes standard on most Naill bagpipes.  The Naill Poly chanter has excellent harmonics and is very responsive. Naill pipe chanters are made in England by David Naill & Co.

The Shepherd Orchestral Pipe Chanter is pitched at 466 Hz, concert pitch Bb. This is the older traditional pitch of the bagpipe. The lower pitched chanter allows the bagpipe to be played with other instruments in the key of Bb. The orchestral chanter has been on the market since 2006. You may need drone reed extenders or low-pitch drone reeds to bring the drones in line with the chanter.

MG Drone Reeds incorporate many of the best features available for synthetic reeds, like a stable carbon fiber bass tongue and natural tenor reed bodies. Composite reed bodies are great in Poly pipe, because they absorb the inevitable moisture.
