Axial Snare Drum - Merlin Reserve
The Merlin Axial snare drum is a stunning, solos-worthy pipe band snare. The premium black tulip veneer is inlaid maple pinstripes. Axial snare drums are designed and engineered to look amazing, sound amazing, and feel amazing. You can see innovations, like the X-frame cage and the N-Circle bottom bearing edge that strengthens the drum. Craftsmen make the shells using a cold-press molding process. This heat-less process produces a more resonant shell. Powder coating, veneer application, and assembly are all done in house. The drums are hand built in Manchester, England.
