Gibson Water Trap - Imitation Ivory Ferrule

 

This version of the Gibson water trap is a good match for pipes with imitation ivory ferrules.  The water trap incorporates a Poly blowstick stock, so your other blowstick stock will need to be removed and the Gibson stock installed.  With the new stock in place, the tube can be removed quickly for drying and cleaning.  This water trap collects water and does not use any desiccant or absorption products. This is an effective water trap and can be used with any bag, including hide and sheepskin.  Just remember that it will require tying in the blowstick stock.

Tip: Remove plastic tube after each practice session, and clean the tube regularly to prevent mold.
