Pre-Cutting Holes in a Sheepskin Pipe Bag

 

If you're comfortable tying the pipe bag in, but want to be sure that the holes are placed and sized properly, we can pre-cut the holes in your new bag. A sheepskin bag is an investment, so it can be comforting to know that you won't make a wrong cut somewhere. We cut fairly uniform circular holes, which stretch around the stock and reduce the risk of leaks. Round holes also reduce the risk of tearing; cutting the bag with an "X" or a star can lead to rips that might ruin a bag. Unless you have specific requests for hole placement, we'll use the long-accepted measurements outlined in Captain John MacLellan's handbook. If you have requests, we'll happily accommodate them.
