Darts from the shoulders prevent gapping, and darts at the waist, in the front and back, help to give a contoured, polished look. Women's and men's vests are made with the same materials and basic features, so the whole band can have a unified, professional appearance. Stocked in a wide range of sizes Sizing: Sizes are based on bust measurement in inches. This is a measurement taken around the chest (under the arms) at the fullest part. The even number measured or rounded up to may be the correct vest size for you. However, you might feel more comfortable in a vest one size up, which will give more room at the hips, and allow greater freedom of movement for playing an instrument. The vests are fitted, and if anything, run a little small. Many sizes are available in S-Short, R-Regular, or L-Long. Consider a Long if you're around 5' 8” or taller, and consider a Short if you're under 5' 6". You might wear a larger Women's Vest size than Women's Piper Flex Jacket Size. The jacket is more open at the front, and the vest is buttoned around the waist and hips.
