Jim Kilpatrick Collapsible Pipe Band Bass Drum Carrier The Kilpatrick Collapsible Bass Drum Carrier is made for the pipe band scene by Randall May, leaders in lightweight percussion carriers. Besides a lightweight, adjustable design, the bass carrier includes a removable airbag pad that cushions the drum, reducing contact with carrier, and thereby interference with sound. Most adjustments can be made with a Pearl or Premier drum key, but Allen wrenches are needed at several points, and pliers or sockets are needed for some of the nuts. Features of Jim Kilpatrick Folding Pipe Band Bass Drum Carriers: Note: Because this carrier has so many places for adjustment, it's a good idea to have a Pearl or Premier drum key, some small pliers, and Allen wrenches on hand for fine tuning. No tools are included with the carrier. Because of all the metal-to-metal contacts, these carriers often have some cosmetic imperfections from shipping and assembly. |
