Bannatyne Chanter Moisture Control

 

Developed by the makers of the vastly popular Bannatyne pipe bag, the Bannatyne Chanter Moisture Control System helps keep the moistest air away from your pipe chanter reed. One end is installed in the base of the chanter stock; the other end extends to the rear of the bag. Air from the back of the bag passes through a dust-free desiccant, housed in a rubber bulb, before reaching the pipe chanter reed. This means that the chanter reed, specifically, is protected from the warmest and moistest air. This product is easily installed in the base of the chanter stock; simply wind the end with some black waxed hemp until it fits securely.
