Basic Beginner Practice Chanter Package
This is a well-rounded beginner's package, with everything you need to start bagpipes. Compared with the Economy Package, this includes a long practice chanter, which is now broadly recommended for beginning teens and adults because it has the hole spacing and promotes the posture that will allow for the easiest transition to the pipes. In addition, it comes with an audio CD, so you can hear the exercises and tunes presented in the book. The tutor book provides a good basic foundation, and the first tune introduced is "Amazing Grace."

Tip for Success: We strongly encourage all beginners to work with a piping instructor, locally or online, for the best chance of a successful transition to the bagpipes. The bagpipes are complex, and there are many finer points best learned from an experienced piper.
