Economy Practice Chanter Package

 

This package gives you a chance to start learning the bagpipes with a minimal investment. While long practice chanters are generally recommended now, the regular length chanter was the standard for a very long time. The Hardie version is a nice one. Two reeds are included, so you'll have a spare on hand. The tutor book provides a good basic foundation, and the first tune introduced is "Amazing Grace." To keep the price of this package as affordable as possible, the companion CD for the tutor book has not been included, but one is available for separate purchase. Tip for Success: We strongly encourage all beginners to work with a piping instructor, locally or online, for the best chance of a successful transition to the bagpipes. The bagpipes are complex, and there are many finer points best learned from an experienced piper.
